Irrigation design begins with the water: source, pressure and flow available determine what the system can run at once. Installation covers the supply connection — with backflow protection so irrigation water can never contaminate the domestic supply — the main and lateral pipework, zone valves, filters, pressure regulation, and the emitters themselves. Lines are laid to be serviceable: flush points at line ends, valves in accessible boxes, and sensible routing that future landscaping work will not shred.

Controls range from simple manual valves to programmable timers and controllers that run each zone on its own schedule. We fit and programme the level of automation the client actually wants — an unused controller is no more efficient than a hosepipe.

Irrigation systems need seasonal attention: filter cleaning, emitter checks for blockage, sprinkler adjustment after lawn growth, and leak repairs where lines have been damaged by digging or sun exposure. A maintenance visit keeps the system delivering water where it was designed to go.

Efficiency is the real goal.
